Univerus Acquires Capital Networks Limited to Strengthen Growing Media Portfolio

Burnaby, BC – December 16, 2025 – Univerus, a leader in enterprise software, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Capital Networks Limited, a long-established provider of digital signage and communication software serving municipalities, healthcare organizations, educational institutions, hospitality venues, and corporate environments across North America.


Founded in 1991, Capital Networks is best known for Audience™, its flexible and scalable content management system used for interactive directories, digital bulletin boards, meeting-room displays, wayfinding, mobile messaging, emergency alerts, and a wide range of indoor and outdoor signage applications.


Through this acquisition, Univerus will:

  1. Strengthen its portfolio with a proven digital signage platform trusted across multiple public-sector and enterprise markets.

  2. Enhance its ecosystem by integrating advanced visual communication and alerting capabilities across existing Univerus product suites.

  3. Accelerate growth in new and existing verticals by introducing integrated signage solutions to customers in energy, utilities, transportation, recreation, and other key sectors.
